Nobel Laureate asks: why is there no vaccine against HIV or TB?

Emeritus Professor Rolf Zinkernagel and Professor Peter Doherty were jointly awarded the 1996 Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine for research they conducted at the 黑料天堂John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR). This year Professor Zinkernagel returns to 黑料天堂to accept the 2013 Curtin Medal for Excellence in Medical Research. As part of the celebrations he will present a lecture exploring the challenge of developing vaccines against infections such as HIV and TB.
