2. Enrolment
FAQ | Answer |

Once I enrol into my courses on ISIS, will they show up in MyTimetable? | MyTimetable is an integrated system that is linked with both Wattle and ISIS. As such, when changes to enrolment or your personal details are made in ISIS they will be accordingly updated on the MyTimetable system. Changes made in ISIS can take up to 24 hours to be across university sites, therefore allow the same amount of time to expect to see these changes within MyTimetable too. |
What do I do if one of my enrolled courses is not showing in MyTimetable? | Ensure that you are enrolled in the correct courses in ISIS. If you have only recently enrolled in courses on ISIS you may need to allow time in order for your details to be updated within MyTimetable. |
3. Allocations & Adjustments
FAQ | Answer |
---|---|
Top Tip! Online or In person | When you see "online or in person" in an activity group description, it means that students have a choice of activities set up for allocation that are either online or in person. Make sure you click into the activity to allocate into either online or in person for your class to get the delivery mode of your choice. |
Why can't I allocate into one of my enrolled courses? | If you are unable to allocate into one of your enrolled courses, it is likely that class allocation is not yet available which you will see if the allocation status is OFF or READ-ONLY. Alternatively, activity group times could potentially have not been released. It is important to stay updated with MyTimetable in order to be aware of these changes. |
What happens if I miss the allocation deadline? | If you miss the allocation deadline unfortunately you are locked into the courses that you are currently allocated in for the rest of the semester. Alternatively, get in touch with the course contact if there have been certain unforeseen circumstances out of your control. |
What if my waitlist request is not approved? | If the allocation deadline is approaching and your waitlist request has not yet been approved, ensure that you leave enough time to get in touch with the course contact to let them know why it is the only available selection and to see what your options are. Alternatively, you can use the timetable planner to see if there is another course you are not enrolled into that would provide a more suitable option. |
How can I change a class allocation? | Any changes to your class allocations must occur within the allocation period (two weeks prior to commencement of teaching period and three weeks after teaching period starts). To change a class allocation, you must first ensure that there is an alternative available option for that Activity group. You can then deallocate from that allocation and select the preferred alternative. If you're preferred alternative is full, do not deallocate form your current allocation and request a swap into the full option that you prefer. Please see the Student Support Resources for Allocating and Adjusting timetables on the Student Access and Support for MyTimetable page. |
I accidentally made a change to my timetable, am I able to change it back? | As long as the change that has been made is during the allocation period and does not have any constraints such as a clashing activity group or the prior activity group is now full you are able to make changes as relevant to your preferences. Please see the Student Support Resources for Allocating and Adjusting timetables on the Student Access and Support for MyTimetable page. |
I can't allocate into an activity group because I have a clash and all the alternatives are full, what do I do? | You will need to try and request a waitlist into an alternative activity for the clashing subject. If a waitlist has not been approved and the deadline for allocation is approaching, ensure that you leave enough time to consult with or email the course contact in regard to your options for that activity group. Please see the Student Support Resources for Allocating and Adjusting timetables on the Student Access and Support for MyTimetable page. |
What do I do if I cannot allocate into a class because of a clash? | If there are no other options or suitable alternatives for the clashing courses, you will need to drop the course or see if there is another course that fits into your degree requirements that can be enrolled into instead. Students can use the Timetable planner to view potential options prior to enrolling into a different course. Please see the Student Support Resources for Allocating and Adjusting timetables on the Student Access and Support for MyTimetable page. |
I don't understand the course/subject or location codes? | Refer to the MyTT Student User Guide. Note: Subjects in MyTimetable are the same as Courses. If you require further assistance, get in touch with the relevant school or college help desk for further clarification. |
How do I cancel my swap request? | To cancel your swap request, simply click on the heart icon which is filled in and you will see that the heart will no longer be selected signifying you no longer are requesting a swap for this subject. A pop-up message will display to confirm that you are no longer requesting a swap. Please see the Student Support Resources for Allocating and Adjusting timetables on the Student Access and Support for MyTimetable page. |
How will I know the outcome of a swap/waitlist request? | To view if the swap has been instantly approved select the refresh icon on the activity group page and you will see a message informing you that the swap has been successful. If you are awaiting confirmation of the swap, you will be notified within the MyTimetable system. Keep up to date with alerts by checking the bell icon on the main menu bar. Please see the Student Support Resources for Allocating and Adjusting timetables on the Student Access and Support for MyTimetable page. |
