Each year the School of Demography may offer one prize known as the Iwu Utomo Demography Prize.

The objective/s of the prize are:
The main objective of the Iwu Utomo鈥檚 Award is to encourage and support research on topics that defined Iwu鈥檚 research, fieldwork, and teaching focus. Researchers working on topics on Indonesian reproductive health, aging, and sexuality are candidates to receive this award.
The value of the prize/s awarded is $1000
The prize will be on offer from 2023.
