75th Anniversary closing ceremony

The University will come together to celebrate our 75th Anniversary closing ceremony. Join Chancellor The Hon Julie Bishop, Vice-Chancellor Professor Brian P. Schmidt and ºÚÁÏÌìÌÃcommunity as we mark this momentous journey, as we honour our past, celebrate our present and make our future.

The closing ceremony will feature a special Welcome to Country from our local custodians involving a didgeridoo piece, followed by a performance from Tobias Cole and Chamber Choir from ºÚÁÏÌìÌÃSchool of Music.

Finally, the event will conclude with a time capsule sealing ceremony where each selected item will serve to capture the essence of ºÚÁÏÌìÌÃlife and learning in its 75-year history. The capsule will be carefully preserved and stored in the University's archives before it is uncovered in 2046 - marking our 100th Anniversary.

The event will be followed by afternoon tea.
